Aerial Roof Survey Oxfordshire – do you need one? The weather is one factor in business that affects everyone. High winds can cause damage to buildings that you sometimes cannot see. With our affordable aerial services, we can fly on your property and compile an accurate and factual visual survey. Routine annual surveys and one off visual inspections after bad weather can satisfy property owners that their building is safe and damage is repaired immediately after any destructive weather occurrence. As well as the need for scaffolding being removed for visual surveys, drones will replace difficult work once done manually in areas where access would be difficult or prohibitively expensive. A visual inspection using our drone is a cost effective alternative to existing access using cherry pickers or scaffolding.

We also remove the need for surveyors to work at height. We can, not only, work with existing occupiers of property but also perspective building occupiers who wish to move into premises and need an accurate survey for repair leases and other legal requirements of a property. Using still images or a video to show the current condition of a property can provide information to a surveyor or property owner to clearly display areas where a building may been repair work. This can also provide necessary information to see if work is needed over an entire area or smaller part and can then save money on building costs.

A recent example of this was a survey which Box Cottage Photography had recently undertaken. It was suspected that an entire roof was in need of repair due to small but significant leaks after strong rain. Upon viewing the footage captured during our flight, the business owner was able to establish that the roof of his building was not in need of a complete replacement (as advised by one surveyor) but in fact small areas were in need of repair. He was able to replay this information back to the property owner who paid for the repair despite the building being on a repair lease as it was clear that the repairs were in need long before the present occupier moved in. This not only saved the business money but also provided both landlord and occupier with an accurate visual record of the current state of the building and its roof.
